About Me

Who am I? I'm a 22 year-old college student born and bre(a)d right here in Niagara Falls, Canada. I'm definitely no professional chef, but love cooking and I know good food from bad. I'm what I'd call an amateur cook, whose eyes are often bigger than his stomach.

What am I here for? I’m here to write a blog with a "Julie & Julia" style approach to prove to myself that cooking, just like most other challenges in life, just takes a little bit of work to succeed at. Each week I’ll be cooking, baking and frying up new recipes out of a celebrity chef’s own cookbook, trying to perfect their obviously already perfect technique. 

Who is my celebrity counterpart? The ever so slightly more charming, more talented and ultimately wealthier, Gordon Ramsay. Ramsay has always been an idol of mine when it comes to chefs for the passion he brings into the kitchen with him and his pure talent. That, and there’s just something about watching him scare the hell out of people on television that I love. 

So throw on an apron, it doesn't even matter if it's your sisters and come and get baked with Ethan. Get your foodie fix for the week with this fun blog. Maybe you'll even learn a thing or two. I'll post the recipes I cook each week in case you want to give them a try for yourself.
